76 % of results were graded A*-A, with 91 % being A*-B. The overall pass rate was 100%. 123 students (61% of the year-group) achieved 3 or more A* and A grades.  The majority of our students have gained their first choice university place across a range of courses including the arts, humanities, modern foreign languages, physical and social sciences, maths and engineering. A total of 14 students secured their offer grades for Oxford or Cambridge Universities and at least 27 have places to study Medicine or Dentistry.

It is important to remember that this year group were unable to sit GCSEs in 2020 and so this summer’s exams were their first external assessments. Year 13 rose splendidly to the challenges of the past 24 months and these results are a tremendous achievement. We are extremely proud of the Class of 2022.

These results are not only a tribute to the students’ hard work and dedication, but also to that of their teachers who have prepared them so effectively over the last two years.”
