CEAIG at KS4
A range of opportunities are available to students at KS4. The one to one careers interviews with Mrs Prentis start towards the end of year 10. Mrs Prentis offers a drop in clinic every Tuesday lunchtime. As Year 11 is a critical year in terms of post 16 option choices, students receive fortnightly careers lessons within the timetable to allow them to explore a range of options for their future.

Work Experience week - This year we are running a virtual work experience week where students will have 2 high profile keynote speakers delivering inspiring talks to begin and end the week. In the 3 middle days the learners will have a choice of approximately 6 talks a day to choose to attend from a wide variety of industry specialists.

Ongoing work experience opportunities - Mr Gallamore in conjunction with "Speakers for Schools" emails out ongoing virtual work experience opportunities throughout the academic year. Learners interested in participating need to apply online and get a reference from the school which will be requested automatically once the application is submitted.

Enterprise Day - As part of activities week all learners will participate in an enterprise day to give them an insight into the various elements needed to create a successful business.

- Unifrog - All learners will have access to the Careers platform Unifrog which empowers them to research opportunities within 6th form, external colleges and 6th forms and apprenticeships. Unifrog is a one-stop-shop where students can easily explore their interests, then find and successfully apply for their next best step after school. Unifrog will help you to explore your key interests and what career paths you can take to reach your goals.
