Consultation on the Altrincham Grammar School for Boys Admission Policy for entry into Sixth Form from September 2026.

Consultation period: 14th October 2024 to 2nd December 2024 at 3.30pm 

Please find below a link to the Altrincham Grammar School for Boys’ Sixth Form Admission Policy for 2026 for consultation.

 In this consultation we draw your attention to, and would like to hear your views on, the following changes: 

• A proposed change to the minimum Attainment 8 Score required to meet the admission criteria for entry to the Sixth Form (section 2). 
• A proposed addition to the admission criteria relating to behaviour and attendance (section 2). 

 How can you respond to this consultation? 

The consultation will be between 14th October 2024 – 2nd  December 2024 at 3.30pm. 

 You can respond by: 

• Writing a letter addressed to the Admissions Manager, Altrincham Grammar School for Boys, Marlborough Road, Bowdon, Altrincham, Cheshire WA14 2RS  
• Emailing your response to  agsbadmissions@hamblintrust.co.uk

The deadline for responding is 3.30pm on 2nd December 2024

 All comments or objections will be considered and the final admission arrangements will be determined by 28th February 2025, when they will be published on our website.
