AGSB Students win The Institute for Research in Schools ‘Best Project in the UK’ category
Last Thursday night at the Francis Crick Institute in London, the Institute for Research in Schools (IRIS) held their annual awards, and Altrincham Grammar School for Boys entered the ‘Best Project in the UK’ category.
Out of 242 entries, our students won first place with their project on ‘Using Neural Networks to Classify the Higgs Boson’. Huge congratulations to Shehroz, Daniel, Harris, and Nahom for this remarkable achievement, and many thanks to Ms Blaize for her support throughout the project.
