In a year in which grades have been brought back in line with pre-pandemic levels, we are delighted to announce that 28.10% of papers were graded at A* and 64.96% at A*- A, the highest in the School’s history. 85% of papers were graded A*- B.  The average grade awarded was an A and 28 students achieved A* for three (or more) of their A level subjects.

Many of the students are now heading off to university, whilst others are embarking on exciting pathways beyond the traditional university route, such as coveted apprenticeships at leading businesses.

AGSB Head Master Graeme Wright expressed his heartfelt congratulations to this year’s A-Level students, celebrating their remarkable achievements.

"I am immensely proud of our Year 13 leavers for these outstanding results, which reflect not only their relentless effort over the past two years but also the unwavering support and commitment of our dedicated staff. Our students have demonstrated exceptional resilience, determination, and an unwavering pursuit of excellence. As they embark on their next chapters, they carry with them a shared drive for success and a strong work ethic, qualities that will undoubtedly serve them well in their future endeavours."

Mr. Wright added, "Whatever paths they choose, I have every confidence that they will continue to excel, just as they have during their time at AGSB. I wish each of them the very best as they step into this exciting new phase of their lives."
